Driving license
If you are spending time in Paraguay, you will need a Paraguayan driving license.
It will simplify many of the procedures related to driving: vehicle rental, car insurance, road police checks, etc.
Obtaining a driving license involves
- a driving school for the code and driving
- a doctor to certify your fitness to drive
- the fire brigade for first aid training
- the police station of your official residence.
The documents thus collected must then be taken to the relevant office in the municipality, which will issue the driving license, to be collected after a period of time that varies according to each municipality.
Here too, the procedure is well designed and works very well, but requires rigor in its implementation to avoid uncontrollable blockages.
